 On 6 December we had a conversation with Debora Cerruti, a researcher at Argentina's Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas and Manuela Silva, professor and researcher at Techn&Art, about the changing role of women and men in society, biological differences between genders, gender inequalities and feminism, taking as a starting point the feminist struggles in Argentina in the face of the advance of fascism and the book " Novas Cartas Portuguesas", published in the mid-1970s by three Portuguese women and censored by the PIDE.

    

  

 

 Open Lecture “Talking about the Role of Women in Society”

The open lecture “Talking about the Role of Women in Society” took place on 12 July.

Professor Sara Garcês discussed the representation of women in prehistoric art and gender roles in interpreting the past, and Professor Samar Kassis from Birzeit University, Palestine, discussed the inequalities faced by Palestinian women living in Area C of the occupied Palestinian territories in the West Bank.
